Rich, luxurious and wonderfully dramatic, Hippeastrum 'Benfica' is one of the deepest red Amaryllis varieties available, producing enormous velvety blooms in intense burgundy-red with a subtle satin sheen. Its opulent colouring and elegant trumpet-shaped flowers make it a true showstopper throughout the winter months.
Named after the famous Portuguese city, 'Benfica' has become a favourite among gardeners and florists for its bold colour, exceptional flower size and long-lasting display.
