Drift into spring with the beautifully calming Have Pleasant Dreams Mixture, an elegant blend of softly scented spring bulbs in tranquil shades of pale blue, blush pink and deep purple.

Carefully curated to create a peaceful and harmonious display, this delightful mixture combines the delicate beauty of pale blue Muscari, the sweet fragrance of fondant pink and rich purple Hyacinths, and the graceful elegance of bright pink Tulips. Together they produce a layered tapestry of colour, fragrance and texture that transforms borders, beds and containers into a soothing spring retreat.

The compact Muscari create a carpet of soft blue blooms, while the richly scented Hyacinths fill the air with their unmistakable perfume. Rising above them, vibrant pink Tulips provide height and movement, completing this beautifully balanced planting scheme.

Perfect for patio pots, borders, entranceways and courtyard gardens, this professionally designed mixture offers weeks of colour and fragrance while attracting bees and other early pollinating insects.

Supplied as a pack of 50 premium-quality bulbs, Have Pleasant Dreams Mixture is ideal for gardeners wanting an effortless, coordinated spring display that looks as relaxing as it sounds.

Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant the bulbs in autumn (September–December) while the soil is cool and workable. Autumn planting allows the bulbs to establish strong roots before producing their beautiful spring display.

Where to Plant:
Choose a position in full sun or partial shade with well-drained, fertile soil. This mixture is ideal for borders, patio pots, containers, beds and entrance displays, where both the colour and fragrance can be fully appreciated.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: Plant bulbs approximately 10–15 cm (4–6 inches) deep, depending on bulb size.
  • Spacing: Space bulbs around 8–10 cm (3–4 inches) apart for a full, natural display.
  • Soil Prep: Improve heavy soils with compost and horticultural grit to ensure excellent drainage.

Watering:
Water thoroughly after planting to settle the soil around the bulbs. Once established, additional watering is usually only needed during prolonged dry spells.

Aftercare Tips:

  • Remove faded flowers as they finish blooming.
  • Allow all foliage to die back naturally before removing it, as this feeds the bulbs for the following year's display.
  • An annual mulch of compost will help keep the bulbs healthy and flowering well.

Top Tip:
Plant near seating areas, patios or pathways where you can enjoy the wonderful fragrance of the hyacinths and the calming blend of spring colours.
