A delightful and unusual variety, that offers warm apricot and peach tones with a softly ruffled trumpet bringing a touch of sweetness to spring borders and containers. Ideal for naturalising in grass or beneath deciduous trees, it returns reliably each year. Introduced in the Netherlands, this cultivar is cherished for its subtle charm and fragrance, truly as comforting as its namesake.

Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant in autumn, from September to November, before the ground freezes.

Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny or lightly shaded spot. Well-drained soil is essential—avoid areas that stay waterlogged during winter.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: Plant each bulb 2–3 times its own height deep (approx. 10–15cm deep).
  • Spacing: Allow about 10cm between bulbs for best results.
  • Postion: Place the bulb pointy end up, and cover with soil, firming gently.

Aftercare:

Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering—this helps the bulb store energy for next year. Avoid cutting leaves too soon.

TIP: For an eye-catching display, plant in bold drifts among other spring bulbs or perennials. Also excellent in containers—just ensure good drainage.
