Darker of foliage and a darker purple- pink in flower. Somewhat shorter in stature and a tidier plant. Supplied from divisions.

Planting Instructions

Ideal for a well prepared moisture retentive soil, these will thrive in a woodland garden, on a stream bank or in a moist border, where they will produce mounds of soft-lobed foliage with taller flower stems. For full sun or partial shade and best planted about 12-18"(30-45cm) apart. Cut back by 2/3 after first flowering, and feed to ensure a second flush of flowers later in the year. Water well on planting and in very dry periods in the first year. Purple pink darker flowers in May-July. 12-18" somewhat tidier in structure and perhaps a little shorter. Hardy.
