When to Plant:
Plant in autumn, ideally from September to November, before the first frosts.
Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny, well-drained spot. These bulbs thrive in borders, gravel gardens, alpine beds, or pots where they won't sit in water over winter.
How to Plant:
Aftercare:
Water lightly after planting. Once established, Iris reticulata requires little attention. Allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering to feed the bulb for next year’s display. Avoid overwatering during dormancy.
Top Tip:
For the best display, plant in small groups or drifts to create bold early-spring colour. These irises also work beautifully under deciduous shrubs where they’ll enjoy winter sun and summer shade.
