A showstopper in any spring garden, and famed for its giant, creamy-white petals and ruffled, apricot-pink trumpet, an elegant blend of poise and drama. Introduced in the UK in the late 20th century, this refined large-cupped daffodil adds a timeless charm to seasonal displays and is especially striking when grouped in generous clumps for maximum impact.

Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant in autumn, from September to November, before the first hard frosts.

Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny or partially shaded position in well-drained soil. Ideal for borders, naturalised drifts in grass, or containers.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: Plant the bulbs three times their own depth (around 10–15cm deep).
  • Spacing: Allow 10–15cm between bulbs.
  • Position: Plant with the pointed end facing upwards.

Aftercare:
Water well after planting to help roots establish. Once flowering finishes, allow the foliage to die back naturally – this feeds the bulb for next year’s blooms. Avoid cutting or tying up the leaves too soon.

Tip:
Apply a balanced fertiliser as shoots emerge and again after flowering.
