The world's favourite miniature daffodil, Narcissus 'Tête-à-Tête' has been bringing cheerful colour to gardens for over 75 years. Producing multiple bright golden-yellow flowers on each stem, this award-winning variety is one of the earliest and most reliable signs that spring has arrived.
Introduced in 1949, 'Tête-à-Tête' quickly became one of the most widely planted daffodils in the world, thanks to its compact habit, exceptional vigour and remarkable floriferousness. Each bulb typically produces one to three nodding blooms with softly reflexed golden petals surrounding a slightly deeper yellow trumpet, creating a delightful display that lasts for weeks.
Flowering from February into March, this charming cyclamineus hybrid is equally at home in borders, rockeries, patio containers, window boxes and woodland gardens. It naturalises exceptionally well beneath deciduous trees, along pathways and through lawns, where it steadily multiplies to form generous drifts of sunshine-yellow blooms. Its lightly scented flowers are also an invaluable early source of nectar for bees and other pollinating insects.
Winner of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, 'Tête-à-Tête' combines beautifully with snowdrops, crocuses, Muscari and Iris reticulata, providing a wonderful succession of colour from the very earliest days of spring.
A true garden classic that offers effortless beauty, outstanding reliability and brilliant spring colour year after year.
