Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant bulbs in autumn, ideally between September and November, before the ground freezes.

Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-drained soil. Narcissus bulbs dislike sitting in wet conditions, so avoid waterlogged areas.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: Plant bulbs 10–15cm (4–6 inches) deep.
  • Spacing: Leave 10cm (4 inches) between each bulb.
  • Postion: Place the bulb pointy end up and cover with soil.

Aftercare:

  • Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering to feed the bulb for next year.
  • Feed with a general-purpose bulb fertiliser in early spring.
  • Bulbs can remain in the ground for several years and often multiply over time.
