A tulip of effortless charm and understated elegance, Tulipa Apricot Delight lives up to its name with blooms that open in a delicate blend of soft apricot, blush pink, and a whisper of creamy white. As the spring sun warms the garden, its colours gently deepen, creating an ever-changing display of pastel beauty that looks hand-painted by nature herself. This Triumph tulip stands with poise on strong, mid-height stems, making it ideal for borders, spring containers, and cutting for indoor arrangements. Its graceful cup-shaped flowers bring a romantic softness to any planting scheme, pairing beautifully with blues, purples, and silvery foliage for a painterly effect.Reliable, weather-tolerant, and long-lasting in bloom, Apricot Delight is as hardworking as it is enchanting — a perfect choice for gardeners who seek both beauty and performance in their spring displays. Plant in generous drifts or as a focal feature, and prepare for admiration from all who pass.

Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant in autumn, ideally between September and November, before the first hard frosts.

Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny or lightly shaded spot with well-drained soil. Tulips dislike sitting in water, so avoid heavy, damp ground unless improved with grit or organic matter.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: 15 cm (6 inches)
  • Spacing: 10 cm (4 inches) apart
  • Postion: Pointy end up! Place the bulb with the tip facing upwards and flat base down.

Aftercare:

Water after planting if soil is dry. In spring, allow foliage to die back naturally to nourish the bulb for next year. Lift and store bulbs if replanting elsewhere.

TIP:
For the most striking display, plant in groups of 10 or more bulbs. Mixing with other early-flowering tulips or white daffodils enhances the delicate blush pink and apricot tones of this variety.
