Tulip Pieter de Leur is a glistening deep vermillion red and almost opalescent to put one in mind of a ruby tiffany lamp. These are not one for the faint hearted but hey these are showy tulips doing what they do best!

Planting Instructions

Tulipa Pieter de Leur bulbs should be planted about 5" (12cm) deep and 3-4" (8-10cm) apart in a sunny site with free-draining soil. Don''t be in a rush to get the tulips in the ground as they will benefit from planting in late October or early November, by which time the first frosts will have reduced the level of disease in the soil.
