There has been a crop failure and we are unable to obtain any big sized bulbs of Sunny Prince. These have been replaced by Sunrise which is very similar - and still available in big sizes. Tulipa Sunrise is a bright buttercup yellow within the flower, slightly paler on the backs of the petals. This is an early flowering  relatively short sturdy form seemingly filled with happiness.

Planting Instructions

Tulipa Sunrise should be planted 5" (12cm) deep and 5" (12cm) apart, or allow 7-9 per square foot in sunny conditions at flowering time. Don't be in a rush to get the tulips in the ground as they will benefit from planting in late October or early November, by which time the first frosts will have reduced the level of disease in the soil.
