Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant in autumn, ideally from September to November, before the ground freezes.

Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny or lightly shaded spot in well-drained soil. Avoid waterlogged areas to prevent bulb rot.

How to Plant:

• Depth: Plant bulbs 3 times as deep as the bulb is tall – around 15cm (6 inches) deep.
• Spacing: Allow 10–12cm (4–5 inches) between bulbs.
• Position: Plant with the pointed end facing upwards.

Aftercare Tips:

• Water in well after planting.
• Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering to feed the bulb for next year’s display.
• For the best repeat performance, lift and store bulbs once foliage has fully died down, then replant in autumn.
