We have grown both Anthericum liliago major and Paradisea lusitanica for a long while and they do not overlap in their flowering but have some similarities. We believe them to have spontaneously spawned an inter-generic hybrid because these flower after one and before the other, are much bigger, taller and later than the Anthericum but earlier and less leafy than the Paradisea.
Plant the crown of thick fleshy roots 4" (10cm) and 24" (60cm) apart in fertile well drained soil in full sun. When the plant has settled in it will produce a dozen or more flower stems.
Flowers May / June
Height 24-36"(60-90cm)
