Planting Instructions

Lilium martagon bulbs should be planted about 5" (12cm) deep in well-dug, well-drained humus-rich soil, in a partly shaded, sheltered position, which will remain moist but not waterlogged. If the soil is heavy add grit to the planting hole. Protect against slugs in the spring and Lily beetle in the summer.
