Anemone Dreaming Swan

There are now a number of variants on the original Wild Swan. This one is different in that the backs of the flowers have a lilac blue band. Mostly single petalled flowers with a very long flowering period and surprisingly good cut flower as well. From 2 litre pots.

Planting Instructions

For full sun or part shade with broad white flowers, the backs of which have a lilac blue band, showing more strongly when the light is lower and the flower less open. The flowers open intermittently so whilst there never seem to be many on a plant, there are usually some all summer through. They would prefer moisture retentive soil as their requirement for moisture is quite large when in full leaf, so they do dry out considerably when grown in pots. Very hardy and pretty much dormant in winter, no attention needed apart from a tidy up. Plant 18” (45 cm) apart and water in, continue to water as required until established, this will be their spread in years 2-3.
