Anemone Ruffled Swan

Rather taller than Wild Swan with extra petals in the flowers, their backs a lilac hue. From 2 litre pots.

Planting Instructions

For full sun or part shade with broad semi double white flowers, the backs of which are washed in lilac  showing more strongly when the light is lower and the flower less open and these re a bit taller than the others of the 'Swan' group. The flowers open intermittently so whilst there never seem to be many on a plant, there are usually some all summer through. They would prefer moisture retentive soil as their requirement for moisture is quite large when in full leaf, so they do dry out considerably when grown in pots. Very hardy and pretty much dormant in winter, no attention needed apart from a tidy up. Plant 18” (45 cm) apart and water in, continue to water as required until established, this will be their spread in years 2-3.
